Code of Practice: Train the Trainer Program
Thursday 5 – Friday 6 November 2026 · 9:00am – 4:30pm
About this program
The Code of Practice for Specialist Family and Domestic Violence Services for Victim-Survivors provides ten guiding principles that exemplify best practice in service design and delivery for specialist family and domestic violence services working with adult and child victim-survivors.
The Train the Trainer Program is a two-day, in-person professional development workshop designed for specialised organisational practice leaders, implementors and supervisors who will champion the Code of Practice within their organisations by delivering the Practitioner Training Program.
The program builds internal capability and sustainability by equipping implementors with pedagogical strategies, facilitation skills, and practical resources to deliver training aligned with the Code. It fosters reflective leadership and ensures that knowledge and confidence are cascaded across teams.
