Code of Practice: Community of Practice Session

About this session

The Code of Practice for Specialist Family and Domestic Violence Services for Victim-Survivors provides ten guiding principles that exemplify best practice in service design and delivery for specialist family and domestic violence services working with adult and child victim-survivors.

These Community of Practice sessions are implementation-focused forums designed to support specialised organisations as they embed the Code of Practice into everyday practice. Facilitated by an experienced practitioner, each session provides an opportunity to discuss implementation challenges and successes, explore practical strategies, and connect with other organisations across the sector to share ideas and learning.

Recognising the important role of non-specialist organisations, these sessions also provide a space to explore how services can contribute to the Code of Practice and strengthen responses for victim-survivors within their own practice.

The Community of Practice aims to foster collective learning, consistent practice, and sector-wide integration of the Code.
